18th September, we held meeting for the upcoming semester.

This day we had a meeting regarding the next semester. We discussed, when to give exam and how to distribute certificated and few plans for the Exam and after the exam.

22nd September  Tibet World 2nd semester certificate distribution ceremony

As saying goes, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world’. Today (22/09/2017) we the TIBET WORLD members held a ceremony which is specially organized for the

students who have been studying languages in our institution.

After every 3 months we are holding such ceremony to distribute certificate for those students who are eligible. And this time we have 67 students from 83 who are eligible to get certificate.

Our education officer Ms. Lhamo Tsering started the program by welcoming chief guest, who is the head of the Tibetan Settlement Office, Dharamsala. We felt very grateful to have Mr. Dawa Rinchen as our guest of honor. The entire program went out well with good inspirational and wonderful speech from our honorable chief guest (Mr.Dawa Rinchen) and respected Fonder director(Mr.Yeshi Lhundup).

 

Our last program was about photo session where all the staffs, volunteers, students, and also our chief guest, director took photo together. After that, we all went out for the lunch which was prepared by our volunteer students. With this special occasion, Thai and Lao monk and nun students club have sponsored lunch to all the TIBET WORLD staffs, students and volunteers as thanks giving.  We would like to say thank you them

25th  September new semester start

New semester start with a great hope of benefit for the students. Also this time we have one more English teacher for the elementary class. He is Gregg. Students used to like him because of his great teaching methods. So we are also thrilled to register new students.

27th September quiz competition.

This is the first ever Tibet worlds quiz competition and we had a good number of students participation. From each group we have 13 students and everyone participate in the competition in different topics. We had topics: General knowledge, English, current issue, and Buddhist philosophy. All staff put great effort to make questions according to the student’s level and we also try to make it interesting in every corner.  Quiz competition went so well and up to our expectation.
